Pat Sajak is leaving Wheel of Fortune, But the official host of the show, Vanna White, has reportedly negotiated a deal to continue publishing the celebrity edition of the letters.

Pat Sajak had announced last June that the September season would be his last. He and Vanna White have been directing together since 1982, also serving as hosts. Due to this, it was discussed whether Ryan Seacrest will officially take charge of this event at Pat Sajak’s place.

Regarding the salary, it is later said that Vanna White has been paid significantly less than Pat Sajak for decades and in recent years the annual salary is $3 million compared to $15 million.
And it was also said that he had not received a raise in 18 years, so he hired an aggressive new lawyer to push for more raises.
However, a TMZ report says Pat Sajak won’t reveal how much he’s pulling in for Wheel of Fortune, though they’ve heard it’s a little over $400,000 per episode.
Although talks for Vanna White’s work in the syndicated series are on hold due to the writers’ strike, that shouldn’t be an immediate problem for the future as she still has another year left on her contract.
