Cardi B surprised viewers by revealing her true nature as a shy person on Monday’s “Watch What Happens Live.”
Dressed in a turquoise gown on Monday’s episode, Cardi B opened up about her shyness while discussing her latest collaboration with Megan Thee Stallion, titled “Bongos,” on the Bravo talk show.

Monday’s episode took an unexpected turn when host Andy Cohen expressed his surprise to learn that Cardi B has a scary side.
On Monday’s episode of the show, a question from a viewer named Evelyn prompted music star Cardi B to share her experiences meeting other celebrities and her fan girl moments.
Cardi B admitted “Oh, it’s a lot. I like to settle down when I meet another celebrity.” Cardi B recreated an awkward pose made famous by Walker at BET’s Soul Train Awards in 2019.
Monday’s episode also said that he is often at a loss for words in the presence of fellow celebrities, which leads to misunderstandings where they assume he doesn’t like them.
Singer Cardi B admitted her shyness, saying “I love them, I just shut up. I don’t even know what to say.”
Andy Cohen was so shocked to hear Cardi B speak at the event that he asked Cardi B if she was really shy.
But when asked by Andy Cohen, Cardi B replied, “I’m really shy. Yeah, I really am. Yeah.”
At one point in their conversation, Candy Cohen asked who wrote the song “Bongos”. Cardi B took credit for it.
But Andy Cohen joked that Cardi B’s lyricism doesn’t seem to align with her shyness.
Cardi B immediately responded, “No, no, no, I’m shy around people I don’t know.”
Andy Cohen couldn’t hide his surprise at Cardi B’s shyness, prompting Cardi B to reflect on her naturally calm and reserved demeanor.
Later in Monday’s event, Cardi B participated in the signature game of “Plead The Fifth,” where guests could choose not to answer one of three questions.
