Teyana Taylor has revealed that she has been separated from Iman Shumpert for quite some time and that it had nothing to do with infidelity after the former NBA star was accused of cheating.
Teyana Taylor, 32, made it clear on Instagram last Sunday. According to Taylor, the couple had been separated for some time and there was no reason for their split.

In this regard, Teyana Taylor explained that they were able to successfully separate them because they kept the public out of their business and only revealed the incident because the narrative was getting out of hand.
Teyana Taylor wrote along with a photo of her and Iman Shumpert “I’m not high on my boyfriend. After all, Iman Shumpert and I broke up and have been for a while.”
She added “We are still best friends, great business partners and one hell of a team when it comes to co-parenting our two children. Most importantly we are family and married 7 out of 10 years together we have never played with or with her.”
Teyana Taylor added, “We only keep all of your ratings from group chat whining because we were able to separate successfully and peacefully without all the outside noise.”
Rumors of infidelity swirled between the once-inseparable couple after footage of a woman wearing Iman Shumpert’s jewelry-like chain surfaced online. Fans believe they hear the NBA star’s voice in the background of the video.
The woman commented on the video stating that she and Iman Shumpert are not romantically involved or that she read his chain and said that all her friends have the same.
Teyana Taylor and Iman Shumpert first met at a party in 2011 and started dating in 2013 before marrying in 2016 and welcoming their next child.
