Actor Michael Imperioli is one of many Hollywood actors to speak out against the Supreme Court, In which the actor filed a statement against the group’s ruling on behalf of a Christian web designer who sought legal protection for discrimination against same-se**x marriage on his religious grounds.

“Sopranos” actor Michael Imperioli shared a screenshot of news about the verdict in his Instagram post, which read “Supreme Court Protects Web Designers Who Don’t Build Gay Marriage Websites” alongside a rolling caption against the decision.

Reacting to some of the reactions to actor Michael Imperioli‘s Instagram post, Michael Imperioli reaffirmed his statement, writing that “hate and ignorance are not a valid point of view” and “America has become stupid by the minute”.

A 6-3 majority in the Supreme Court was announced last Friday, representing a significant blow to LGBTQ’s defense.

Web designer Lorie Smith wanted to explain why he wouldn’t create a wedding website for same-se***x couples, saying he opposes them because of his religious beliefs.

This web designer also said that it would be illegal to post such statements. The case was reportedly argued in the Supreme Court based on freedom of speech.

The ruling was one of a series of sweeping victories for conservative politics from the court this week
