The paramedical team arrived on the scene and treated Terry Dubrow in critical condition and he was now fine. However, Heather Dubrow was not satisfied with the treatment and insisted that she be taken to the hospital. Terry Dubrow refused and left the ambulance.

Embarrassed by the situation, Terry Dubrow called an Uber to take him home. Later, the doctors conducted various tests on Terry Dubrow and as a result they informed that Ashiq had suffered a transient ischemic attack or TIA.

What is described as a brief interruption of blood flow to a part of the brain that can temporarily cause stroke-like symptoms is usually temporary and does not cause long-term damage.

Doctors tested him further and revealed that Terry Dubrow had a patent foramen ovale, or PFO, a hole in his heart that did not close after birth. Doctors told Terry that a blood clot had passed through the PFO, traveled around his brain and caused the TIA.

Fortunately, experienced doctors fixed Terry Dubrow’s PFO on the spot and now Terry Dubrow is healthy. Currently he is doing high intensity work out and cleared for promotion.

Had his PFO not been diagnosed and treated, any type of stroke could have been life-threatening
